this is some of my writing, go ahead and pawn it off as your own.
were you there the day i died?
lucky me, it was the first time i tried.
i can't imagine many people cried.

these headlights to eternity,
flash right by me,
after minutes only i remain,
walking with this constant pain,
i died last night,
my life being in vain,
these drugs in my vein,
give me shelter from the rain,
where did i go wrong?
i abstain.
maybe i'll catch a train,
back to my mind,
maybe if i'm kind,
the world will rewind,
but for now,
i'm stuck in now,
with horns blazing past me,
and my eyes filled with,
these headlights to eternity.

you are my song,
only with you do i belong,
i'll try not to say things wrong,
but when i do,
remember that i love you,
and what we have is true,
when we are together,
i hope it lasts forever,
when i see you,
i can think of no other,
we can never be apart,
because that would tear me apart,
what we have is more beautiful than any art,
paintings and poems will never compare,
to the love that we share.

what did i say wrong,
i guess it's time for me to move along,
but before i go,
i want you to know,
that what you reap is what you sow,
and what goes around comes around,
so don't be looking at me when your six feet under ground.

i'm writing to you,
or at least the thought of you,
soon i will dream of you,
you'll be how i saw you last,
i'm always living in the past,
your hair will be short,
you'll wear your aruba shirt,
you'll smile,
then i'll cry,
but don't wonder why,
because your only my dream,
your only my hope,
your only my wish,
and we all know wishes never come true,
so i guess i will keep writing of you
